    Research Areas
     Professional classical mezzo-soprano. I continue to be invited to perform opera, concerts with orchestra, and recitals throughout the nation with professional opera companies, symphony orchestras, and colleges and universities.
    Teaching Areas
     Teaching duties include applied voice to all degree levels in all voice types. I regularly am invited to present master classes and lessons to colleges and universities with music programs throughout the nation. International teaching in 2014 was with the Vancouver International Song Institute in Vancouver BC Canada and "Opera Viva", an operatic training program in Verona Italy.

    "Presented a master class for the Regional National Association of Teachers of Singing Student Auditions in Canyon Texas.." (11/3/2016)


    The Ekstrand Graduate Student Competition is a three-round competition for the entire College of Music.  Extremely competitive for over $10,000 in prize money.  I was one of three finalist judges for this event. 


    Master Class for the Denver Lyric Opera Guild Young Artist Competition for singers in the state of Colorado, or training at Colorado colleges and universities.  This prestigious program rivals the Metropolitan Opera Auditions with viable prize money and world class judges.  I presented a 6 hour master class for the singers entered into the competition.  I recruited several singers into our admission auditions from this event.  


    Presented a master class and taught privately for the voice students at Concordia College in Moorhead Minn.  I recruited several singers into our admissions auditions for the 2016-17 academic year.


    Presented a Master Class and taught privately for the singers at UAB-Birmingham AL.


    Presented a Master Class for singers interested in Rice University at Opera America in New York City.


    Presented a Voice Master Class for singers in the Department of Music at the University of Oklahoma in Norman OK.
