    Research Areas
     Dr. Li's research focuses on physical chemical processes that impact water quality in natural aqueous environment as well as engineered treatment systems. In particular, her group works on advanced technologies for water and wastewater treatment, behaviors of environmental colloids and macromolecules at aqueous-solid interfaces, contaminant fate and transport in the aqueous environment, and environmental application and implication of nanotechnology.
