Research Statement
Currently working on a new collection of poems, tentatively titled "The Spirit Bone," about one-third complete.

"The Spirit Bone"
I am currently working on a collection of poems tentatively titled "The Spirit Bone."

The Spirit Bone
On sabbatical this fall (2004) I completed (or almost completed, I'm not quite sure) work on my fourth collection of poems, tentatively entitled "The Spirit Bone," which I plan to submit this spring to my publisher, Penguin Putnam.

Research Interests
I am currently finishing a book of poems. I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which I've probably had for many years. I'm interested in writing about the experience of having the disease in both prose and poetry.

If Grief Were a Bird
This is a collection of poems currently being sent out for publication.
